Who We Are

I bought this business, then basically gutted what it was, cleaned everything up, opened the floor plan, and changed the entire atmosphere so that now when people come in, they don't rush through a transaction and leave but instead stick around and talk and become part of the rhythm here, which is honestly my favorite part of running this place.

The Fairytale Thing

People walk in and immediately comment on how magical it feels, which I love hearing! We have multiple Christmas trees up all year long with the silver winter one staying permanent, my mother's Valentine tree in its own special spot, and every morning I turn on all the decorative lights throughout the shop because it sets the right tone for the day.
The music situation is unpredictable in the best way because how I'm feeling when I wake up determines what's playing, it could be mindfulness meditation tracks or puppy meditation, which is a real thing and surprisingly soothing, but on high-volume days when orders are flying and energy is ramping up we switch to techno and the pace matches perfectly, and when stress starts creeping in we stop and do squats together, which sounds ridiculous but it resets our focus, and on the overwhelming days Disney goes on and everything feels lighter.

Creating Art That Means Something

I put my whole heart into funeral work... Families share these personal stories with me about their dad who collected vintage saddles and wore the same boots for thirty years, about their grandmother who never missed a baseball game, about their son who lived for football Sundays, and they trust me to honor that person through flowers. I take this seriously because I've designed arrangements on actual horse saddles, in cowboy boots, shaped like baseball diamonds and football fields, whatever helps families feel seen and supported during the hardest moment of their lives.
Ferguson's and Pinkle's, the two funeral homes in our area, send families to us regularly, not because I solicited their business but because families kept going back and telling them how much our work meant to them.

How We Actually Operate

I work six days a week and handle everything myself 99% of the time, though my daughter manages all our marketing since she's pursuing her master's degree in it and brings real value to our business and how we connect with customers. During peak seasons like Valentine's and Mother's Day friends help with phones and deliveries, but the actual design work is always me, which means when you place an order you're speaking directly to the person who's going to create it so there is no miscommunication, no lost details, no wondering if your vision got translated correctly.

Quality You Can Actually See

We receive fresh flower shipments at least twice a week and I'm meticulous about what leaves the shop, which is why customers regularly come back to tell me their roses lasted two weeks, and one woman stopped in specifically just to share that her arrangement was still gorgeous after fourteen days, which made me so happy.

Moments That Remind Me Why This Matters

The COVID wedding will always stay with me because the couple had booked everything with us, then both got sick days before their ceremony, so I created a small arrangement and drove it to their house on my own time so they could still get married at home while recovering, and when they were finally able to have their big celebration at the farmstead a year later they called us again, and I still have their thank-you card with wedding photos on my wall.

I have brides who've framed their wedding pictures and brought them to the shop, regular customers from Crystal Springs who order centerpieces for every luncheon, and an older woman last week picked up a single arrangement for her friends' lunch gathering, and when she saw it her face completely lit up "Oh my god, that's so beautiful!" she said, and it was just one centerpiece but she was thrilled, and those moments are why I do this.

We're small, we're local, we know our customers by name, and the shop is easy to find on Route 23 right next to the jewelry store. People keep coming back not because we're convenient but because of how it feels to work with us, the personal connection we build, the care we put into every single arrangement I'm not just trying to sell flowers, this has always been about creating something meaningful, and I wouldn't want to do it any other way.
